About Us

Our
Story

Multipotentiality - The Multifaceted Movement was inspired by our son, Keenan—a vibrant, curious, and passionate young man who refuses to be just one thing. He plays football and baseball, trains in martial arts, dances in four styles, plays three instruments, and never wants to take a single activity off the table.

Despite the comments we hear—“He’s doing too much” or “He’ll have to choose soon”—Keenan remains joyful, humble, and committed. He reminds us daily that kids shouldn't have to shrink themselves to fit a mold.

That’s why we started this movement: to empower kids like Keenan to Be All of It—athletes, artists, musicians, scholars—and to support the parents, coaches, and communities who make that possible.

Yes, it’s hard. Supporting a multipotentialite takes time, energy, and resources. It can be overwhelming for families. But it’s also a calling—and we’re here to help.

We’re building a bridge: a support system of tools, community, understanding, and opportunity. So that no child has to choose too soon. So that no parent feels alone. And so that no coach feels they have to limit a child’s potential just to fit a system.

Let’s raise a generation that grows without limits—supported, celebrated, and fully themselves.

What Is a Multipotentialite?

A multipotentialite is someone who is wired for more than one path.

They are driven by curiosity, fueled by diverse passions, and unafraid to explore across different interests. Instead of narrowing themselves too soon, they build strength through variety—learning quickly, adapting easily, and blending ideas in ways that spark creativity and innovation.

The term “multipotentialite” was coined by Emilie Wapnick to describe people who thrive across multiple interests and disciplines.
